Garments reshaped with care

We begin with the garment itself: its fabric, seams, condition, and what can realistically be changed. That helps us shape practical redesigns and alterations without overpromising results that the material cannot support.

From vintage pieces to sentimental clothing, our work focuses on preserving what matters while improving wearability. Every project moves through review, approval, and finish checks so the outcome stays aligned with the original plan.

Our story

How TailorCraft grew

Founded by Layla Al-Saeed, TailorCraft has focused on garment remodelling and upcycling since 2018. The workshop serves customers in Diyar Al Muharraq with measured, design-led alterations.

2018

A practical start

TailorCraft began with a simple idea: clothing should not be discarded when it can be repaired, reshaped, or reimagined.

Consulted

A clearer process

As demand grew for remodelling and upcycling, our process evolved around clear consultations, written scope, and careful material review.

Refined

A lasting approach

Today, we continue to work on garments that need a better fit, a new purpose, or a more considered finish.

What we stand for

Values that guide the workshop

Our work combines alteration skill with remodelling judgment, so each garment gets the level of attention it needs. We focus on practical results, clear communication, and careful handling at every stage.

R1

Clear assessment

We assess each garment before quoting, so the work plan reflects the fabric, construction, and the requested change. This keeps expectations realistic from the start.

R2

Thoughtful reuse

Our remodelling approach reuses as much of the original garment as possible when the material allows it. That helps reduce waste while keeping the design grounded in the piece itself.

R3

Measured finishing

We document the alteration scope and review the fit again at collection. Small final adjustments can be handled carefully without changing the agreed design.

R4

Transparent process

From consultation to collection, the process stays transparent. If a material, finish, or fit detail depends on inspection or availability, we say so before work begins.
